Councilwoman Dionne Faulk Delivers for Inglewood

A longtime resident of Inglewood and a mother of two, Dionne Faulk puts her experience and skills to work on behalf of Inglewood residents.

In November 2020, Dionne was elected to represent Inglewood's 4th City Council District and became the first African American woman and the second woman to ever serve on the Council.

She's running for re-election to continue making Inglewood a safer and healthier community for all our families to thrive.

Councilmember Faulk's Action Plan for Our Neighborhoods:

  • Homelessness & Housing: Continue to find solutions to this crisis by locking arms with Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass and Los Angeles County Supervisor Holly Mitchell to implement a regional approach that increases our shelter and housing capacity.

  • Public Safety: Make progress and double down on successful neighborhood-based solutions that make us safer. Continue to work with residents, small businesses, faith-based organizations, and the Inglewood Police Department to identify problems before they arise.

  • Thriving Neighborhood: Build on the progress we have made in beautifying Inglewood with Capital Improvements Projects for Crenshaw Blvd with additional investments, medians, street re-pavements, and signage for for Imperial Highway and Prairie Avenue. Work with parents and the school district to elevate our schools out of receivership with solutions that provide all our kids with the education that they deserve.
